Old Chiangmai Cultural Center Web Design

For the Old Chiangmai Cultural Center, I took on the challenge of redesigning their website using Adobe XD, CANVA, , Adobe Photoshop, Wordpress. Operating under the framework of the center's brand guidelines, I was tasked with image selection and UI design, among other responsibilities.

One of the project's primary objectives was to solve a significant pain point: the center's reliance on third-party booking platforms, which affected their bottom line. By integrating a custom-built ticket reservation funnel, complete with a strategically placed Call-To-Action (CTA) on the homepage, the redesign aimed to make the center self-reliant. The in-house booking system not only offered a seamless user experience but also served as a direct revenue channel, cutting out the middleman entirely.

To add depth to the user journey, I utilized my expertise in local history—gained from an art history degree—to curate and write the site's English content. This provided a rich, educational backdrop that complemented the center’s offerings and elevated the overall user experience.

The end result is a website that is not just a digital front but an effective revenue-generating tool. It marries modern design techniques with meaningful content, making it both a practical and cultural asset for the Old Chiangmai Cultural Center.
